STARBOATS is owned and run by Matthew Innes, who has 28 years of boat building experience. Matthew started out building wooden trawlers on Thesen Island, then made the transition to fiberglass construction. Soon Matthew opened his own buisiness which he has successfully run for the last 18 years.

Together with his skilled team of employees there is no fiberglass boat they cannot build. They have a 'popular' range which have over time proven to be successful for their quality and durability.

STARBOATS paddleboats, fishing boats, canoes, and pontoons can been seen all around Knysna and along the Garden Route where the company is based. All the boats can be transported easily and trailers can be build on request for the larger models.
